I am an organized, diversified, self-starter who thrives in the results-oriented environment and I believe strength of character and integrity for all aspects of life. As a Building Automation System Specialist, I daily perform the entire commission process. This involves confirming equipment submittals, equipment startup and commissioning, troubleshooting, graphics & sequence checks, necessary reports, along with the training of the end user. I enjoy the entire process since it allows for a diversity of work, a constant learning curve, and a team approach to finishing any project, which generates a higher quality end result.

Prior to working as a Building Automation System Specialist, I worked for several years as an industrial controls electrician. So I have grown from installing the equipment to now commissioning it, thus giving me a “from the cradle to the grave” approach that very few have. As part of a team, I bring experience, energy, and integrity. This combination is extremely rare, profitable and yields the results needed in this field.

While working as a Systems Controls Administrator, I enjoyed coordinating HVAC and lighting system upgrades in office complexes that were occupied. The facets of this assignment involved keeping existing control systems online in one area of a building complex while introducing updated programming and controls systems to the same area, interfacing with various departments, engineers, and subcontractors. Additional responsibilities included assisting with front end design of proposed systems, and integration of 3rd party equipment to keep existing outdated systems operational prior to thier being phased out.

On my off time, I enjoy SCUBA diving, snow skiing, spending time with my family, and volunteering for community work.
