Boost Terms of Service

1.1 What is Boost?
Automate America offers a "Boost" promotion service that increases the visibility of your:

• Professional profiles and company profiles
• Hourly Contracts (White Glove and Standard)
• Direct Jobs and Apprenticeships
• Requests for Quote
• Products and services

A private request sent to one named professional is never boosted.

Boosted content receives priority placement in search results, the main feed, and recommendation algorithms. Boosted items and paid ads are shown across the site — in the feed, listings and members' dashboards — matched to each viewer, and are labelled "Sponsored". While a boost is running, a boosted posting stays open without the weekly confirmation and a boosted professional is shown as available; when the boost ends, the weekly confirmation applies again.

1.2 Eligibility
To use Boost services, you must:

• Have an active Automate America account
• Be in good standing with our platform policies
• Pay at checkout

2.1 One price, one product
Boost is a single product sold at a flat weekly rate. There are no tiers, no
visibility multipliers, no badges and no placement guarantees.

2.2 Durations and duration discounts
Boost is sold for a choice of durations, and the longer durations are
discounted against the weekly rate.

2.3 Where the price is stated
This document does not state prices. The rate that applies to you is the one
shown on the purchase screen at the time you buy, before you are asked to pay,
and that figure is what is charged. Rates and discounts may change at any time;
a change never affects a Boost you have already paid for.

2.4 What a Boost does
A Boost raises the placement of the boosted item in the feed and in listings. It
does not guarantee any particular position, number of views, applications or
hires.

All prices are in USD and subject to applicable taxes.

3.1 Payment Timing
A boost is paid once, in full, at checkout, before it starts. It does not renew and you are never billed again for it. To keep an item boosted, buy another boost; buying more time for a running boost adds it to the time left. A boost bought before November 1, 2026 starts on November 1, 2026, the day Automate America fully launches; its time is counted from that day.

3.2 Accepted Payment Methods
Payment is by card through our payment processor (Stripe) at checkout; Automate America never receives your card number.

3.3 Currency
All transactions are processed in US Dollars (USD).

3.4 Taxes
Sales tax or VAT may apply based on your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

3.5 Your Boosts
Your boosts, and whether each has been paid, are listed in your Boosts dashboard (/dashboard/boosts).

3.6 Failed Payments
If a payment does not go through, the boost does not start and nothing is charged.

4.1 Cancelling a Boost
You can cancel a running boost from your Boosts dashboard (/dashboard/boosts). It stops at once, and cancelling does not refund anything by itself. A boost that has not started yet can be cancelled the same way; it then never starts.

4.2 Refunds
Refunds for a boost follow Section 2 of the Refund Policy.

4.3 No Refund Situations
Refunds are NOT available if:

• Your content was removed for policy violation
• Your account was suspended for Terms of Service violation
• The boost period has fully completed
• More than 30 days have passed since purchase

4.4 Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.

4.5 How to Request
Email info@automateamerica.com with your account email, the boost (the item and the date you bought it, or a screenshot of the charge) and the reason.

5.1 General Requirements
All boosted content must comply with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. Additionally, boosted content must be:

• Accurate and up-to-date
• Relevant to the category (professional profile, contract, or job)
• Free of misleading information
• Professional in presentation

5.2 Profile Requirements
Boosted professional profiles must have:

• Appropriate and professional photo
• Accurate work history
• Valid skills and certifications
• Current availability status

5.3 Contract/Job Requirements
Boosted contracts and jobs must have:

• Accurate rate/salary information
• Real project or position description
• Valid location information
• Truthful requirements and qualifications

5.4 Prohibited Content
The following may NOT be boosted:

• Content that violates our Terms of Service
• Misleading or fraudulent listings
• Content promoting illegal activities
• Spam or duplicate listings
• Content with excessive promotional language

5.5 Our Rights
We reserve the right to:

• Remove boosts from non-compliant content without refund
• Deny boost purchases for accounts with policy violations
• Suspend boost privileges for repeat offenders
• Request content modifications before approving boosts

6.1 What We Provide
With your boost, you receive:

• Increased visibility as described in Section 2.4

6.2 What We Do NOT Guarantee
We do not guarantee:

• Specific number of views, clicks, or impressions
• Applications, messages, or contracts resulting from your boost
• Exact search ranking positions (varies based on competition and algorithm)
• Response rate from other users

6.3 Factors Affecting Results
Boost performance depends on:

• Quality and completeness of your content
• Current market conditions and competition
• User activity and platform traffic
• Relevance of your skills/listing to searchers

6.4 Analytics Accuracy
Analytics are provided on a best-effort basis. Minor discrepancies between reported and actual metrics may occur due to bot filtering, caching, and data processing delays.

7.1 Changes to Packages
We may change boost prices or features; changes are posted on this page with a new version and effective date, and a change never affects a boost you have already paid for (Section 2.3).

7.2 Active Boosts
Active boosts at the time of any pricing change will complete at their original purchased terms.

7.3 Price Increases
Price increases apply only to purchases made after the effective date.

7.4 Feature Changes
We may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion. Significant feature removals will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, offer alternatives.

7.5 Service Discontinuation
If we discontinue the Boost service entirely:

• Active boosts will be honored or refunded
• the change will be posted on this page at least 60 days before it takes effect
• Prorated refunds issued for remaining time

8.1 Your Right to Cancel
You may cancel a running boost at any time from your Boosts dashboard (/dashboard/boosts); it stops at once. To ask for a refund, see Section 4.

8.2 Our Right to Terminate
We may terminate your boost immediately if:

• Your content violates our Terms of Service
• Your account is suspended or terminated
• We detect fraudulent activity
• You violate these Boost Terms

8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:

• By you: Refund per Section 4
• By us for policy violation: No refund
• By us for service discontinuation: Prorated refund

These Boost Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Greenville County, South Carolina.

By using the Boost service, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts in Greenville County, South Carolina for any legal proceedings related to these terms.
