How Peer Reviews Work

FEED's peer review system is designed to create transparency and trust between contractors and customers. Unlike anonymous review platforms, our reviews are verified through actual completed contracts.

Rating Categories

Every review includes ratings in these categories:

  • Communication - How responsive and clear was communication?
  • Quality - For contractors: quality of work. For customers: clarity of requirements.
  • Timeliness - Were deadlines and schedules respected?
  • Professionalism - Overall professional conduct and behavior.
  • Overall Rating - A 1-5 star summary rating.
  • Would Recommend - A simple yes/no recommendation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Only users who have completed a contract together can leave peer reviews. This ensures all reviews are verified and based on real working relationships. After a contract is marked complete, both the contractor and customer can review each other.
You have 30 days after contract completion to leave a review. We send reminders at 3, 7, and 14 days. After 30 days, the review window closes to ensure timely, relevant feedback.
You can edit your review within 48 hours of posting. After that, reviews become permanent to maintain integrity. If you believe a review violates our guidelines, you can report it for moderation.
You can respond publicly to any review you receive. Your response will appear directly below the review. If a review contains false information or violates our terms, you can flag it for review by our moderation team.
By default, reviews show the reviewer's name. However, reviewers can choose to post anonymously. Anonymous reviews still require contract verification - we just hide the name publicly.
Reviews contribute to your overall rating, which is displayed on your profile. Higher ratings and more reviews improve your visibility in search results. Profiles with 4.5+ average ratings may receive a "Top Rated" badge.
