Build your profile
Create a profile that shows what you actually run — PLC platforms, robot brands, HMI/SCADA, safety, the industries you know — plus certifications, past projects, and the rate you want. The sharper the profile, the better the work that finds you.
Get found — and go find work
Two directions at once. Our matching surfaces contracts, jobs, and RFQs that fit your skills, location, and availability, and companies searching the network can request you by name. You are never stuck waiting to be discovered.
Apply with your profile
Browse open contracts, direct jobs, and RFQs and apply to the ones worth your time. There is no bidding and no negotiating: the rate on the contract is the rate, and you are paid exactly what you see. Take White Glove work (Automate America runs the timesheets and invoicing and pays you on the contract's net terms — you are never its employee) or a Standard contract (you engage the company directly) — your call, contract by contract.
Do the work, build the record
Once you are on, log hours through the timesheet system, message the customer in-platform, and let the results speak. Completed contracts and customer reviews build a track record that wins the next job faster than any resume.
Get paid
Submit timesheets weekly. Every contract pays on the net terms the customer set when posting it — by direct deposit from Automate America on White Glove contracts, and by invoicing the customer on Standard contracts.
Work together, then tell the story
Once you are connected with someone you have worked with here, either of you can write a Connection Story about the work. The other person confirms it, adds their side, or declines it privately. Put up a contract, a direct job, or an RFQ with the specifics: skills, location, duration, rate, and start date. Posting is free, the pay rate is public, and you set a market-accurate number before the first response lands.
See applicants — or request someone directly
Qualified professionals apply at the rate you posted. Prefer to pull instead of wait? Search the professional network and send a direct request to the exact controls engineer, PLC programmer, or integrator you want — you do not have to wait to be found either. A standard request is $10, charged to your card only when they answer; nothing is charged if they don’t.
Review the real signal
Every applicant applies at your rate, so you pick the best professional, not the cheapest. Weigh each one on completed contracts, customer reviews, work history, and the skills that match your line. Automate America does not vet or verify anyone — it puts the evidence in front of you and the hiring call stays yours.
Hire the right fit
Extend an offer to the person who fits. On White Glove contracts, Automate America handles onboarding, timesheets and invoicing, and pays the professional on the contract's net terms. On Standard, you manage the engagement directly. Most plants run a blend — a core team plus specialists for peaks and one-off integrations.
