I've used Python to create programs for professional, personal, and educational projects. These projects included a 3-axis drawing robot that used OpenCV and a Raspberry Pi to draw faces. I have also written Python for a robot currently in production where a Python program allows a Fanuc robot to communicate and control a Photoneo 3D camera.
I was an Application Engineer at KUKA Robotics for 3 years. I worked very closely with VisionTech (based on Cognex's VisionPro), ConveyorTech (conveyor tracking), KRC4 controllers, and the KR Agilus robots.
I've worked with VisionPro while at KUKA Robotics, but continued my experience while working for Indicon Corporation. I've attended classes for VisionPeo, In-Sight, ViDi Deep Learning, and In-Sight ViDi. I helped many customers by performing feasibility testing.
I worked for Kawasaki Robotics as a Field Service Engineer for 2 years. I programmed robots using AS language for many different applications, including palletizing, sealer (paint department), material handling, etc. I also worked closely with a 3D vision company to integrate their sensors with our robots in major automative plants across the country. Much of my job was troubleshooting issues with electrical, mechanical, and software.
About Me
I've been in the automation industry for the past five years. I've worked for KUKA Robotics as well as Kawasaki Robotics. My specialization and passion throughout has been in machine vision. I've worked with sensors/software from Cognex, Sick, Liberty Reach, KUKA, and Kawasaki.
I started Oculi Robotics in 2021 in order to build my own company to program robots, realize machine vision applications, see different industries, and help companies make automation work for them.

I worked at Kawasaki in the Technical Support group, part of the Field Service department. I traveled the country, helping customers program or troubleshoot their robots/controllers. I saw many different applications and industries during this time.
While at KUKA, I supported our sales team, integrators, and end-users from an engineering perspective. I specialized in machine vision applications.

B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Oakland University. I graduated Cum Laude with Academic Honors in the Electrical Engineering dept. and a cumulative GPA of 3.74. While at Oakland, I was on the Dean's List for 2 years and achieved Academic Honors for 8 semesters.
