Engineering Department: Creating and rendering 3D CAD drawings of products. Designing and 3D printing prototypes, then test them and fine tune them. 3D printer maintenance. Creating production CAD drawings, BOM and QC. Come up with templates to enhance productivity and eliminate repetitive errors and standardize product lines. Autonomous CAD templates. (This was discouraged cause it consumes a lot of time to make them. However if they allowed me to proceed with it. Everything in that department could have been way more faster, accurate and efficient.) I am the only one capable of this in the company so far. Program Microsoft Excel to automatically fill out BOM with minimum user inputs to eliminate human error as much as possible. Assist with Research and Development (R&D). IT Department: Creating a database for computers printers and other hardware devices in workplace to maintain and keep track. Design mini electronic circuits to do minor automation to make work more efficient. Eg. In house Andon lights plus wireless linked microcomputers to identify which department requires attention in the production floor. Troubleshooting PC and Printer issues as tech support.

6-month contract. Completed before contract ended. Creating and rendering 3D models using AutoCad. Updating company website. Generating.PDF files of products individually for marketing.

Schematic capture and PCB design with Altium Designer. Creating a master database for component inventory. CAD design and proofing with Solidworks. Troubleshooting electronic circuits.

(Jun 2014 - Aug 2014) Engineering Intern SLINTEC - Sri Lankan Institute of Nano-Technology - Pitipana, Sri Lanka. - Created a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) ladder code to control four valves and four nano-reactors. - Calibrated a J-Type thermocouple to precisely read and process the temperature from the PLC. Four touch panels were configured and programmed as secondary control HMIs (Human Machine Interface) for each reactor

(May 2013 - Aug 2013) Teaching Assistant University of Moratuwa - Katubedda, Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. - Assisted with the preparation and supervision of mechatronics lab experiments. - Designed circuits and implemented assembly code for Microchip PIC microcontrollers as a part of the lab experiments

(Dec 2012 - Jan 2013) Engineering Intern NDi Technologies - Orlando, FL, United States of America. - Performed system restoration and troubleshooting on Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) Processors. - Assembled and Tested ALPR Cameras and documented the test results. - Packaged parts for assembly of ALPR Processors and Cameras using Bill of Materials (BOM). - Tested and verified the functionality of an ALPR Camera Control Board. - Created an Assembly Manual for an ALPR Camera. - Senior Design Project (Colorado State University - Pueblo): Successfully developed an Autonomous / Radio Controlled gas lawnmower for the senior design project as a team of five. ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Manufacturing Project (Colorado State University - Pueblo): - Participated in an IEEE (Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineering) robotic competition [2011 April] as a student member.
