Design engineering, sales, and construction management of various Zeeco Inc. projects. Start up and commission of low NOx power burners throughout the United States, Europe, Middle East and India, while demonstrating proficiency in controls and BMS operation systems. Oversaw construction of low NOx power burner retrofit projects, while working with various subcontracting companies. Assuring customer contract guarantees are met on emissions for NOx and CO. Perform electrical checkouts of equipment, system walk downs, and work with programmable logic controllers. Intermittently visiting sites to perform Boiler Maximum Available Control Tuning (BMACT) testing. Visit customer locations to perform startup and boiler tuning. Assist with development of Package Boiler and Cast Iron Boiler burners in Zeeco Test facility. Training includes quality audits, retrofits, flame pattern observation and recognition, customer relations, and burner design and tuning including adjustments for performance, efficiency, and emissions. Burner testing and tuning experience includes Zeeco's, Single Jet Low-NOx burner sizing from 8-15, GB burner sizing from 8-16, Free Jet Low-NOx burner sizing from 6-20, Ring Free Jet Low-NOx burner sizing from 10-16, Flat Flame Free Jet LowNOx burner, Ultra Low-NOx burner, and GB V25 burner. Pilot trouble shooting experience includes ZA2 Pilot, JM pilot, SM pilot, ARGS pilot, ARGS/SM hybrid pilot and Zeeco Power Division's High Energy non-retractable Igniter.
Worked with Reactor Services during Limerick Generating Station outage. Tap & Died drywell head bolts and applied never seize during reassembly activities, rigged B-25 boxes for GE cameras & supplies. Vacuumed guide tubes, performed vacuuming of foreign material from outer bands of reactor cavity. Rigged and removed reactor cavity work platform, installed drywell head.
