Sahith — Software Design Engineer

I am Sahith, I am currently working as Software Design Engineer at ADTRAN, where I am recognized for developing operating system software for OLTs and ONTs. I have dedicated more than 2 years in developing python scripts and test cases on robot framework to check the functionality of NGPON products. I also have an extensive experience in troubleshooting customer issues using user interfaces such as CLI, SNMP, Web GUI. I offer significant skills and experience in L2 /L3 switching, Trunking, Mac/Tag-switching Data and testing LAN Switching protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, IGMP, VLAN, ARP. I am good at C++ / Python programming languages. I had pursued my Masters in the fields of electrical and computer engineering at University of Illinois at Chicago. I did my bachelors in the fields of electronics and communications at Manipal university. My strengths are I am a hard working, sincere and dedicated. I am very much keen In learning new things. I am good at multitasking and excellent at meeting deadlines. I am quick learner. When it comes to my weakness, I find it difficult to say no to a person who asks me for help. I call it weakness because, I overburden myself and I find some people just asking for help to avoid their work. Now a days I am overcoming my weakness by just checking whether he or she is avoiding work or is really in need of my help.
