Developed the Ford Fast Standard Interface for Fanuc Robots. Retrofit vehicle welding line to add a Perceptron vision gaging system in GE Proficy software at Nissan Canton, MS for Comau. Hardware and software design and commissioning. Retrofit replacing control system of Spring Rolling Machine. Hardware and software design along with installation and commissioning utilizing Siemens Step 7 for 315T Technology PLC, Siemens Servos and TIA Portal for Siemens HMI. Work performed for Yost Superior in Springfield, OH.
Served as Software Team Leader and Commissioning Leader. Led a team of 15 engineers for a two-year project of assembly automation software development and commissioning, utilizing multiple Siemens HMI's and PLC's for FCA Kokomo. Project included FIS, MPTS, Andon and MDT interfaces. Engineered controls system for Comau Engine head presses, five Comau dynamometers and Tiger Shark cold test machines with Mitsubishi PLC's and HMI's.
Functioned as commercial and technical liaison between my customers and GE Fanuc. Managed and was accountable for all project aspects including budget oversight, schedule, risk and resource management, project engineering. Approximately equal time spent on engineering and management roles.
Hardware and software engineering, design, commissioning, and support of projects from cradle to grave utilizing a multitude of controls platforms on mostly metal removal machines.
