· Responsibilities included troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment associated with stamping, press forming, and injection molding equipment; daily assignments and scheduling, spare parts management, implementing and improving 5'S and Kaizen activities, leading continuous improvement projects, downtime tracking and countermeasuring for equipment improvement · Implementation of training to create multi-skilled electro-mechanical team members · Coordination of installation and commissioning of vision based quality control and automated packaging system

Responsibilities included installation and commissioning of electrical and control systems for new industrial facilities as well as electrical repair in existing facilities. Major projects worked on included DuPont Deep Well Elimination – New Johnsonville,Tn., Mercedes-Benz U.S. International – Vance, Al., Georgia Pacific Dual Line Chipper and Reclamation – Cedar Springs, Ga. Assisted with a 4 day turnaround at Tuscaloosa Steel due to fire that destroyed their 30kvdc Arc Furnace. Complete electrical and control system for all furnace operations had to be removed, re-installed, and commissioned in 4 days.
