90% of my robot programming experience has been with Fanuc robots, as small as an LRMate 200 to as large as an M2000. Confidently set up a Fanuc robot from the as-received condition to fully configured and operational, whether a Fanuc Wizard is available or not; software options, extended axes & motion groups, I/O networks, DCS setup. Very good at Fanuc hardware troubleshooting. Extensive PMC programming experience, from simple management of robot functions to full control of positioners and automatic tooling.
Spot welding, material handling and sealing/dispensing application in various Chrysler/Stellantis body shops.
I worked on a handful of Motoman projects a long time ago. The largest project involved material handling and mig welding of tunnel reinforcing rings for infrastructure projects.

- Over the past 25 years, I have designed, built and programmed the control systems for many single-robot, two-robot and small hard automation applications.
- In addition to extensive Fanuc PMC ladder, I have programmed Allen-Bradley, Omron, Maple Systems HMC and Direct Logic PLCs, plus Maple Systems HMIs and legacy GEFanuc Total Control Products HMIs.

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. I believe four years of Engineering education trained my thought process to work through any problem logically. I am a natural-born tinkerer and mechanic. If it's broke, but fixable, I can fix it. If it's not fixable, I will still try. I refer to my skill set as robo-trols-tool-wright-pipe-trician.
25 years programming robots. Cycle time reductions, path planning (I don't require SIMs or OLPs to program an efficient robot path), start-up debugging are areas in which I excel.

Experience with material handling for part transfer, robot-to-robot handoff, in-air respot (spot weld and sealing), rack pick searches.
Robotic mig welding - light gauge automotive applications (hard wire steel, aluminum, brazing) to multi-pass heavy steel fabrication. Set up mig welding equipment and peripherals, weld procedure development. 95% of my experience has been with Fanuc-Lincoln Electric combinations, but I have worked with Motoman-Miller packages as well.
Robotic Dispensing - I focus on programming a smooth and constant-speed path for cycle time efficiency and bead accuracy. I prefer to leave setting parameters to the sealer specialists.
Robotic spot welding - I focus on keeping the caps perpendicular and programming a smooth path for cycle time efficiency. I prefer to leave setting parameters to the spot welding specialists.
