Maintaining and repairing your robotic system is key to keeping you up and running. Investment into your system is crutial to your investment and should be taken seriously. Most systems are very robust, but anything and everything mechanical, will fail in time (especially if not properly maintained).

Having the right person onsite during critical production times is key and important to maintain the volumes you are targetting. This will not only get your system back up and going quickly, but can also bring experience and improvements to the table (that may have not been previously thought of or implemented).

Troubleshoot, wire electrical, robotic and controls systems for defects and find proper route cause. Identifying the proper source is key to a proper repair on complex systems.

Work as a field service technician when first coming into the industry. I've seen and done various repairs, troubleshooting and modifications in the field and remotely.

Having the proper crew with experience and knowledge not only maintains the end result, but does so with precision and control. So many systems do not get the proper attention during the installation to avoid costly mistakes or re-engineering.

Troubleshooting and proper identification of issues are key to getting your system back up and running. I beleive in finding the route of the problem and creating a long term fix. So many people out there believe is "swaptronix" which does not find a route cause and rarely creates a long term fix.

Gaining and maintaining control of your process is key to long and consistent manufacturing goals. Keeping strict guidelines to a process and maintaining them will only keep your production moving forward at the speed and reliability that every company strives for.

Working in the field for over 25 years, I bring a vast amount of resource to the job. I've seen and experienced a great deal and wish to bring this knowledge gain and expertise to your organization.

The commissoning portion following an install can be key in effectively achieving the goal you are after. This is where you find those nasty bugs or hurdles that seem to stop the show. Having an experienced person to assist in commissoning your equipment can prove beneficial to the end result.

Installing equipment can have their challenges, whether it be new or older equipment. Having someone who's worked on both aspects can be a benefit to the project, understanding the scope and ultimate agenda to achieve your installation on time and in budget.

I've integrated many machines into each other and they come with some challenges. It's important to do your research ahead of time to understand the restrictions and have plans in place to eliminate or mitigate the effects of integrating machines.

Material handling can be a challenge in all aspects. It's important to have a clear understanding and scope of work to effectively achieve the end result. Having more than 25 years of robotic material handling has it's benefits, as I've seen many applications and understand the dynamics of robotic systems to achieve the best overall result.

Keeping your equipment in key operating effectiveness is crutial to your operation. Preventative and proactive maintenance is so important and many customers do not invest enough into these schedules. I've personally seen equipment installed in 1997 that is still in operation today due to proper and effective preventative maintenance. Knowing what's important to maintain can keep you up and running for many, many years.

Having worked on Cognex, Keyence, Matrox and Photoneo systems (to name a few), all processes have become more reliable and effective over the years. Whether it's for inspection, positional data for part pick and place or find/locate, vision systems/cameras/sensors can be tricky to setup if you've never done it before. Having over 10 years of working with these types of systems can be a massive benefit to your organization, to get you up and going quickly.

Having managed a weld shop for over 10 years (Mig, resistance, spot, etc...), I've been exposed to many issues and bottlenecks that comes with this type of process. Understanding the process and knowing the effects of welding on materials has great benefits to the end user. Components change dimensionally after a welding process and can be tweaked either before or during to achieve product in tolerance.

After over 25 years in the industry, I decided to "go it on my own". I wanted to help customers (both big and small) get the most out of their systems or even to get into systems. Keep clear and transparent communication throughout the entire process, having the customer gain comfort and strength in knowing their systems.

Having worked for I-Cubed Innovators as a Robotic and Automation service specialist, I was put on many of the toughest systems they builts. I was proud and confident with all systems I worked on, giving the customer what they wanted and needed (even when they didn't think it would be possible). I was blessed to have been challenged on so many fronts with I-Cubed and they gave me the confidence to move forward with me starting my own business.

Having worked for Orlick as a Robotic and Automation Corporate Specialist, I was involved with so many projects (die casting and machining). From fixing machines, installaling new systems, deisgning automation for the corporating, etc... It honed my skills to move into the future.

Having starting as a Supervisor/Automation Specialist, I was introduced to so much by working at Metrican. I assisted in building their welding/assembly department from less than 10% of their business to over 50%. I assisted in the quotation portion of work, fixed machines, performed layouts for machine placement and best use of area available (with future goals in mind) on top of managing over 100 employees. This was an important step in my career to have gained a different level of knowledge in the manufacturing sector (as the end user).

My first round at Orlick Industries to help them get into automation. I was part of a single plant with less than 15 robotic systems. I was the main robotic technician and process control engineer for their die casting facility and gained a vast amount of knowledge from many of the industries pioneers at the time.

I worked for ABB Flexible Automation Division as a Field Service Technician. This was the beginning of my career in robotics and where I found my passion for automation. I gained so much knowledge and exposure while working for ABB. From wiring control cabinets, building systems, fabrication, field emergency service and much, much more. I still have a great deal of passion for ABB systems as I was brought up on them (as they would say).
