I’ve supported automation systems at companies like Ford, Lucid Motors, Amazon, and Intuitive Surgical, delivering robust PLC, vision, and robotic solutions using Studio5000, Cognex, Keyence, C programming, and Fanuc Robotics, just to name a few. My work spans several industries specializing in the automotive, military and medical device industries, with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and compliance in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. I’m currently open to contract opportunities and fully eligible to work in the US as well as the EU thanks to my dual citizenship. Traveling Engineer: Ford: Assemble and debug PLC code from Ford's standard template for automated welding lines with Kawasaki robots. Initiate buy-off process with integrator and Ford on completed manufacturing lines for Ford Ranger frames. Amazon: Design from ground-up critical components for Amazon's confidential R&D project. Simulate design changes and run design recap meetings with Amazon's manufacturer in China. Solidworks design and simulation. Lucid: Improve cycle time for battery pack assembly lines to meet buy-off requirements. Simplify operator interface to decrease faults and downtime. Make code changes for improved line tracking and fault management. Intuitive Surgical: Transition PLC code to a modular design, allowing for simple and easy future R&D development. Assist with the medical approval process for modified assembly lines. Work with welding engineers to add increased capability to manufacturing cells.
