Responsible for project management and development of PLC and HMI applications, with the goal of improving the automation code structure to become more contemporary and readable. Oversee creation of a full set of automation objects (AOI) for the filtration group to use. Developed a method of coding that follows a sequential method for easier reading and coding and save the initial code development time by 40-60%. Won Market of the Year as a group and received an annual company award for the implementation of an in-line blending and filtration system for the company. Managed the creation of 10+ add-on instructions to improve the development of code and HMI as well as the development of a contemporary sequential coding structure
Developed and wrote PLC and HMI code for various processes, from Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and functional descriptions. Commissioned the equipment, including testing of all instrumentation, valves, and pumps. Verified the equipment operation and offered process improvements. Determined the causes of loss signal and remedy issues, including sending maintenance requests, antenna tilting, and rotating. Followed up with internal trouble ticket system and reached out to customer if needed. Wrote UMTS RAN Performance Engineer's Job Aid used to train other engineers and improve the training experience, including solutions to several common problems, trouble areas in the region, and potential fixes. Determined the causes and fixes in a systematic method, leading to the elimination of troubles on a daily basis and overall improvements in coverage for the area.
