Oversight of checkout and help prepare for plant startup of the bioenergy refinery.. Owners Representative - I/C (July 2020 – March 2021) Responsible for the construction process and implementation of electrical, instrumentation, and controls for a new bioenergy refinery greenfield project.

(Wood Biomass) - Mississippi Regional Process Engineer I/C (Dec. 2018 – Present) Responsible for the process design and engineering of electrical, instrumentation, and controls for a new 850,000 TPY wood biomass pellet facility in Ms. This project involves small to large project scopes, design, engineering, implementation, and commissioning to successful operation. This included the start-up and commissioning of a new 850,000 TPY facility in Hamlet, N.C. in the fall of 2019. The control system utilized in these facilities is Allen Bradley Logix 5000, Plant PAX, and Flex 5000 I/O.

(Engineering Consulting) Senior Instrument Design Lead (October. 2015 – Dec. 2018) Responsible for leading the project design efforts (Scope, design and implementation) for small to medium Instrument and Electrical projects primarily for IP paper mills. This includes projects such as Relay replacement (Switzer), Steam and Condensate upgrade, Tail threading, Redundant condensate monitoring upgrade(Orange book), Tall Oil level upgrade, Recovery boiler combustion upgrades, and Line shaft turbine governor upgrade. Senior Instrument Designer (Sept. 2014 – October 2015) Responsible for the Scope, design and implementation of small to medium Instrument and Electrical projects primarily for IP paper mills.

Weyerhaeuser, ELP – Natchitoches, LA. Process Control Engineer (March 2014 – August 2014) Responsible for process improvements on 5, veneer press lines and I-Joist manufacturing line in a 24/7 engineered lumber manufacturing facility.

Responsible for the Scope, design and implementation of small to medium Instrument and Electrical projects for the Exxon-Mobile refinery in Chalmette, Louisiana. This included a 2300 volt compressor upgrade, a Bently Nevada vibration protection system on another compressor, and controls upgrade for a high pressure coke cutting system.

Responsible for the process improvement and uptime utilization of two 120,000 TPY wood biomass pellet facilities. This includes small to medium project scope, implementation, and commissioning to successful operation. This included a conveyor system replacement, wood chip cyclone replacement, and fire suppression system.

Calvert, AL. Responsible for the Cold Rolling Mill PLTCM and Roll Shop electrical and automation activities. Provide technical support, field start-up and commissioning support. Responsible for Safety, and training/development of the CRM electricians. Collaborates well with fellow Technical Specialist's to meet mill challenges and deadlines. Managed automation and commissioning issues. Responsible for the design and implementation of automation upgrades in my areas of responsibility (both CRM and PLTCM lines), also included DCS programming and upgrades for a proprietary DCS system from Converteam (P80i). Utilized SAP computerized maintenance management system.

Theodore, AL. (For Orion Engineering Inc. and BayFour Design, LLC) Responsible for PLC programming and electrical & instrumentation design and scope of work for various projects. This includes PLC configuration, networking, wiring schematics, panel design and loop drawings using AutoCAD 2004, Instrument specifications, Project and construction management, technical support, field start-up & commissioning.

(Engineered Wood Products) – Alexandria, LA. Managed day to day activities of a 38-member maintenance staff for a PLV (Pressure Laminated Veneer) manufacturing facility. Designed and Managed electrical projects for the PLV mill. Utilized MAXIMO computerized maintenance management software for day to day work flow. Transitioned to SAP for computerized maintenance management system.

McIntosh, AL. Responsible for process controls department, DCS configuration, scheduling of plant upgrade projects using SAP, and program implementation. Managed project programming and start-up budget. Assisted in plant operations and problem solving. Responsible for the budget, scope of work, design, drawings, and commissioning for 19 DCS control system upgrade projects, including Foxboro I/A DCS equipment specifications and configuration for 50 % production increase. Responsible for all electrical training. Managed power distribution system and demonstrated cost effective management.

(High Pressure Laminate) – Cincinnati, OH. Managed the day to day operation of the manufacturing facility electrical maintenance department. This included preventive maintenance and major machine break down/rebuilds. Responsible for Electrical PM program. Responsible for development and conceptual design and management of new electrical projects for the mill. Utilized cost effective management. Implemented NFPA70E safety regulations into facility.

(Citric Acid Manufacturer) – Dayton, OH. Responsible for management of E&I department, scheduling of plant and packaging equipment rebuild projects. Responsible for the development and conceptual design of all electrical projects, DCS configuration (Siemens TI505), and employee electrical training. Assisted in plant operations and problem solving. Managed preventative maintenance program using SAP. Managed power distribution system, and utilized cost effective management. Implemented NFPA70E safety regulations into facility.
