SEPT 2016 -PRESENT Process control Engineer -part of PMT As Process control engineer assigned to PMT member for HAWIYAH FEED Gas increment project Responsible for review of MAC specification, instrument data sheets, design drawings, C & E diagram P&ID's.participation in HAZOP, LOPA, SIL assessment, review of other deliverables and coordination on behalf of ARAMCO
Shaw group (2011-2012) PMC I&C Lead NASR Offshore project for ADMA-OPCO supervising FEED contractor's effort. The capacity was 65000 BPD and included gas export, oil and water injection and gas lifting features with 9 WHT, MFT and Gas, Separator and Accommodation platforms. This effort also included development of MAC specifications, system drawings, telecom system design reviews and networking using WAN & LAN. Completed P& I.D reviews as well as participated in HAZOP, LOPA, SIL Assignment. PMC team was involved in review of all the FEED contractor design document and support the integrated team of the Client (PMT/PMC). PMC Lead Umm Lulu Offshore project supervising FEED contractor's effort. The project included a super complex with 5 platforms and 8 wellhead towers. The capacity was 105000 BPD with gas lift, gas injection and water injection systems. Also developed the networking for control and telecom system using subsea fiber optic cables and ring topology for the redundancy. Developed a digital oil field concept so that all the necessary interfaces and data communication were possible for better management. This project included review of MAC package, DCS, SIS, F& G system specifications, C & E Diagram reviews, participation in HAZOP, SIL assignment. Foundation Fieldbus with high power trunk and FISCO spurs were utilized on the project. Advised and helped in selecting the latest Foundation Fieldbus technology for the project (we decided to use high power trunk with FISCO spurs ).All the instrumentation utilized for DCS & ESD was intrinsically safe. PAROSNS, Aiken, SC (2010-2011) Principal Delta V Programmer / Engineer Salt Waste Processing Facilities at Aiken, S. Carolina Design, implementation of DCS Delta V system, configuration/programming, FAT, SAT and site support for startup & commissioning. SIS / TRICONEX TMR based system design, engineering, alarm data base development per EEMUA-191 standards; development of guidelines for SIL verifications, SIL calculation checking and, SIS lists and PHA report mitigation
WORLEY PARSONS (2004-2010) Engineering Manager - Control System COMPERJ PETROBRAS Refinery plus Petrochemical Project, Brazil; 8 billion dollar T.I.C The scope included Basic design and FEED for utilities, sulfur recovery units, off-sites. Also as part of PMC effort developed Main Automation Contract for DCS, Safety system with 50000 DCS IO and 25000 Safety instrumented system IO and sub systems, protection and automation of electrical system. MAC cost will be estimated $120 million various licensor document and coordination. BED included HAZOP/HAZID and LOPA and SIL calculations As part of BED and FEED of utilities, sulfur recovery units and off-sites developed PFD'S, P&ID' s, control Narratives alarm lists and interlock descriptions, Cause & Effect diagrams. A team of 35 engineers was helping this effort under my guidance. As a PMT member assigned to Statoil's Oil Sands Upgrader project in Canada. This included SRU. DRU, Delayed Coker by FWC, Hydrogen plant form UOP and utilities and off-sites. As PMT reviewed PFD'S P& I.D' s, process design & safety criteria, specifications, set up control philosophy, Inst. Design basis. As a Lead Control System Engineer, I completed Chevron Nigeria LTD's OLERO CREEK production facilities with capacity of 160000 BPD of oil, Responsibilities included NWS and NFS barge control system implementation which included water injection systems refurbishing of PCS and Safety shutdown system using AB CONTROLOGIX PLC'S, Fire and Gas detection system, MCC/Switch-gear building replacement, P&ID' s, SAFE charts, P.H.A, RFQ' and procurement of long lead items. PCS, SIS specifications, design, system Block diagrams, IO lists. Review to comply with API-14 C standards. Also completed FEED package for TOYO for AL-KHAFJI, KJO project Worked on Marathon gas plant FEED package and BIBIYANA Gas plant. Scope included system specification, system architecture, data sheets, flow metering and two phase flow studies, oil movement studies. As a Control System Supervisor, completed OBAJANA Cement Power Plant. This plant consists of three (3) LM 6000 GE Gas Turbines with 45 MW capacity.
