Programming Skills (4)
I have been working in controls for around 10 years total. I first started out working in maintenance as an electrical and PLC technician. I since went to work for OEM manufactures building programs and designing electrical solutions to meet production needs. I have several machines in service around the states that are currently in service that I had a hand in designing and building the programs/HMI applications for. I have worked in several industries including food production, textiles and web flow handling, fiberglass production, and the wood and sawmill industry. I am a fast learner, and skilled programmer and technician who fights for the customers needs and maintains the highest level of professionalism.
Mostly I use DraftSite for electrical prints and 2D mechanical drawings of my electrical panels. However, working with OEM manufactures I received a large about of training with Solidworks 2018 and am very skilled with the software and 3D modeling.
While in school I had a professional training and certification course for Fanuc robotic arms. I was officially certified back in 2016. Specifically the LR Mate series of robotic arms. I have also been responsible for installing and programming at least one Fanuc robotic arm (LR Mate 200iD) into a process to increase production throughput, and efficiency.
While working with the OEM manufacture we mostly only used Yaskawa drives for process equipment. I have also used them a lot with the Ethernet/IP expantion card used to connect them to Allen-Bradley PLCs for process control.
About Me
My business was founded in 2021 on the vision of providing manufacturing facilities automation solutions to improve efficiency, safety, quality, and reduce downtime. With many years of experience working in controls I have honed a multitude of skills that I utilize to fill the essential gaps in automation process.
One of the most important aspects of how I run my business is I feel that full transparency, and being up front and honest is critical for success. I am always happy to help, and offer a solution that is both fair, and cost effective.

Working with OEMs I have gained a lot of experience assembling and designing panels for different controls applications that are very well organized, and meet UL certification standards.
I am very organized when it comes to development of a PLC or HMI application for use in customer equipment. I take many notes, and save copies of all information shared about the project. I believe in 100% transparency when it comes to information. If a customer needs to ask a question, or wants to add features or functions I am happy to help and always answer my phone or email.
Working on many different job sites in different industries, I have picked up really troubleshooting tricks to get process equipment back up and running with as little down time as possible. While also keeping excellent notes on any changes being made and document any findings to provide to the customer in easy to read and clear reports.
Work Experience(5)
Currently work as a controls engineer for one of the largest wood as sawmill equipment manufactures in the US. I have a lot of exposure to many high level programming styles, as well as a wide variety of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
I worked for this OEM manufacture as an engineer with a focus on electrical and controls engineering, but also with some mechanical engineering as needed. My primary use was migrating the company from using Micrologix PLCs and switching to using compact logix PLCs for newer equipment. Our primary industry was in textiles, and foam manufacturing.
Worked as an on site controls engineer for AAF Flanders at the US corporate location is Smithfield NC. I primarily was responsible for continuous improvement projects to increase existing process equipment's efficiency or product throughput. I was also involved in new projects to improve the production process. I mostly worked with Allen Bradley PLCs and PanelView HMIs for my projects. When the budget allowed, I would often be Compact Logix, but otherwise would be Micrologix PLCs for my projects.
Worked as an electrical maintenance technician on 3rd shift. I was responsible for setting up, and servicing production equipment. I mostly worked on general process equipment like material handling and packaging equipment, as well as calibrating and servicing digital scales and metal detectors. All while maintaining good standing with the on site USDA staff.
Worked with the BMET group as a technician intern while in school for my electrical engineering degree. Mostly I helped with performing electrical safety tests on new medical equipment and taking inventory. As well as managing the hospitals mobile asset tracking system
