Lead a development program for the institution and standardization through pre-set, quick change insert tooling for families of products on the Davenport automatic screw machines. Introduced concepts for increasing throughput and minimize setup downtime by employing quick change/pre-set tooling and pre-set setup carts in coordination with other lean specialists in competitive manufacturing expertise. Designed and developed durable and perishable tooling platforms for modular, quick change tooling. Run tool life tests and specify min/max tool stores specs. Designed concept products for sales team. Performed Process Quotations and estimates for potential new business. Recorded final design details and approvals of customer products.
