My time as an instructor has resulted in flexibility to adjust to many styles of learning to meet the customers needs for proficiency along with a solid understanding of the products I represent. Developing documentation and instructional material has led not only to a high level of understanding for the products which represented but how to best pass that knowledge on to the customer in a thorough and impactful manner. My experience relating to and instructing customers from varying backgrounds has elevated my abilities to quickly troubleshoot and adjust to changing situations. In my current and previous positions my most notable achievements have been: As an educational intern for the Siemens Cooperates with Education (SCE) I assisted in the development of the educational program for technical schools and the training of the instructors that implemented the program. By the end of my two years as an instructor with SITRAIN I was teaching and developing 14 industry courses surrounding programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, variable frequency drives and programming languages. In my position within channel management I was able to develop an updated system that greatly reduced overhead and increased the quality, consistency and distribution of instruction materials. With the increased efficiency of material handling I was able to further develop the partner pre-certification program to utilize more intuitive, efficient assessments and testing platforms. Through this process the new system in place was better equipped to serve the customers and provide a more informative experience. Increased the number of channel partners successfully completing and maintaining certification. The maintenance and process changes to the learning management service resulting in the output of higher quality and more consistent data. Successfully working with the channel management team and surrounding business units to execute the annual Siemens partner event (SITEC).
