Period of Employment: 04 th June 2014 to till date Nature of Employment: Full-time ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for installation and commissioning of Robotic cells for the Industrial manufacturing process. - Manage a team of Robot programmers for successfully completing the projects in time with quality and cycle time proving. - Performing site study, pre-installation site check, defining project scope, Robotic cell layout marking, studying production plant facilities for systematic transport, handling and storage of mechanical units. - Responsible for onsite operating and programming of industrial Robots as per client's standards for various manufacturing applications such as Robotic Spot welding, Material handling, Sealing/Gluing, Stud welding, Machine tending, Painting, Cylinder head washing, Arc welding, and Piercing. - Monitoring, identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting robot faults in the production line. Providing production support, taking remedial and preventive actions for the breakdowns in the production line. - Interfacing of Industrial Robots with the Programmable logic controllers (PLC) and other electrical automation devices by commissioning industrial protocols. Responsible for adding and checking Interference zones between robots and peripheral equipment. Taking process trails in auto mode, inspecting part, achieving process quality. - Calibrating industrial robots and 3D vision cameras. Configuring and integrating external axis and End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) such as spot welding gun, grippers, stud welding and arc welding torch with Robots. - Providing onsite Robotic services to the clients. Providing hands-on Robot training and safety training to client's maintenance engineers, new employees and trainees. Discussing with customers regarding technical issues and providing support over. - Handling the tasks of educating clients on automation products and assisting them in solving technical issues. Explaining application process flow and providing robot training on maintenance and troubleshooting to Clients. - Generating offline robot programs (OLP) using 3D simulation software, building program logics and motion paths as per global industrial standards. - Responsible for optimizing Robot trajectories to achieve process cycle time. Optimizing robotic applications to maximize production output and reduce downtime. - Creating and maintaining Robot training ppt, end-user operating manuals, maintenance and troubleshooting documents, safety manuals and application process flow. Organizing design drawings, simulation report and other project related documents before execution of the project at client's location. Creating & maintaining project issue trackers and manpower resource utilization document. - Analyzing the performance of equipment used in the production line and ensuring equipment efficiency and reliability. Improving automation systems, increasing the efficiency of the robot by optimizing motion paths. - Material and manpower requirement planning, organizing project resources required to carry out the project on site, maintaining and updating project status report, work activities listing and manpower allocating. - Simulating jigs, fixtures, Robot manipulators and other mechanical components of automation cell using computer-aided 3D simulation software. - Designing basic mechanical equipment and components using 3D CAD software. Designing and developing custom operating screens in robots and HMI screens using the graphical user interface designing software. - Responsible for selecting industrial robots and end effector tools by doing reachability study, robot payload analysis, cost estimation and application study.
