Mitul — Robotic Technician

Robotic Technician (Co-op) September 2018 - December 2018 PWO Canada Inc, Kitchener, Canada - Troubleshot production problems that may had a robotic and/or automation problem as required or as requested by Production Team Leads. - Maintains and repairs robotic weld cells and automation systems within the building and on equipment as requested or by issued work orders. - Updated in Motoman make Robots' program, retaught points whenever required and used innovative ways of improving existing robotics and other machinery

Automation of Mineral water plant February 2015 - March 2015 Mechmatics Engineering Private Limited - A mineral water plant had issues of low productivity and improper bottle feeling because of the time consuming and inconsistent manual production facility. - A panel was designed using PLC, HMI, AC Drive to fully atomized mineral water plant by controlling various machine parameter such as water feeling, heating and conveyor belt speed. - As a result, production speed increased by up to 50 bottles/min. In addition, automatic control of various components such as heater, pump, motor reduce electricity bill. Engineering skills: - Having a good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment's such as hydraulic valves, power pack, control speed of single and double acting cylinder. - Familiar with instruments and switchgear equipment's like relay, contactor, busbars, cables, SMPS, ampere meter, volt meter and energy meter. - A good understanding of single-three phase wiring, star-delta, DOL starter, frequency variable drive, servo drive, servo motor, temperature-pressure sensors and IR-Ultraviolet sensors

September2014 - November 2017 Junior Project Engineer Mechmatics Engineering Private Limited, Ahmedabad, India - Designed a panel, using delta PLC and HMI, and installed on a hydraulic rubber press machine to improve the product quality by eliminating human interface with the machine and maintaining critical process parameters. - Installed load-cells and controller on a 5000 liters' capacity storage tank to maintain milk content in milk products by closing the storage tank valve on a selected range of fluid weight and weighting milk in a storage tank. - Created and implemented PLC panels in a variety of manufacturing industries using PLC, HMI, SCADA, AC drives, servo- mechanisms and sensors to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing cost

Service Engineer July 2013 - August 2014 Sainath Controls, Ahmedabad, India - Troubleshot the issue of no power input in shape mold machine by changing MCB after checking input voltage using multi meter and checking point to point wiring between panel and machine and plc inputs-outputs. - Prepared wiring diagram, blueprint and performed on-field installation of electric wiring, assembled components and related industrial apparatus in control cabinet. - Prepared all required technical documents such as operation manual, safety guide, electrical specifications and reports for different service execution teams and customers
