Phoenix, AZ - Responsible for troubleshooting, modifying and training on existing automated cells. Teaching teams to understand the entirety of the cells. Create Troubleshooting guides for cells and all components to assist in possible problems that are not explained in manufacture manuals. This combination was responsible for eliminating 40% downtime. When I started there were No PM schedules or clear process instructions. I modified manufacture suggested PMs, with working knowledge of equipment and Implemented PMs for all automated cells as well as the components within. This also contributed to less downtime. Introduced process instructions for operations and techs. Training new and existing techs. Working with engineering, vendors, integrators and in-house teams to modify existing equipment and introduce new solutions to optimize production. Working hands on with all maintenance fixes from planning to install. Standardized components used to reduce inventory cost. When I arrived there was no list at all. This alone reduced inventory cost and will continue to do so in the future. Hydro Fabrication lacked the knowledge of a "buy off" and giving the integrators a list of Standard parts which cost them millions in lost production, inventory, and incomplete or under production of brand-new cells. Helping them understand this was invaluable.

Joliet, IL - Automotive Industry, Specializing in optimizing cells from planning to integration and then production support to debug and eliminate any unforeseen issues. Main customers were failing plants or plants with under producing equipment where our team would successfully raise production numbers. Knowledge consisting of various automated cells and the components within; pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment. Creating Standard Components list for plants and referenced by integrators of future projects. Rockwell controls software to troubleshoot problems and implement the fix as well. ABB and Fanuc programming from scratch and simulation templates, diagnosing issues with existing programs, creating interlocks through I/O with PLC and teaching in-house employees how to utilize equipment. Working partnerships with operations, engineering, outside vendors, and management to prioritize issues, eliminate reoccurring problems, downtime reduction, optimization of work flow, reduction in cycle times, creating machine specific manuals for techs, upgrading existing equipment and Implementation of new cells.

As a robotics engineer I've worked with installs, set-up, and line support. Leading teams of programmers on offsite locations. Experience with Robotic Material Handlers, Stud Welders, Mig Welders, Spot Welders, Vision Systems, Sealers/Adhesive applications, Rivet Guns and Operator Work Stations, just to name a few. Responsibilities: Maintaining Production Lines ( cells containing 1 robot to 100+), Supporting Operations with optimizing work flow, Meeting with outside Vendors to implement upgrades and reliability, Diagnosing Flow, Reducing Scrap, Standarizing of Components to reduce inventory cost, Reduction of Cycle Times and Raising overall Productivity. Ability to troubleshoot, navigate, implement changes and panel view creation with Rockwell-Allen Bradley Control Logix to keep the production lines running. My main goals were going to failing plants and getting them back on track from a range of all plant issues.
