Contractor to the GE/Government partnership team, overseeing the overhaul of the T700 engine at CCAD. The T700 Engine is the power supply to both the Apache and Blackhawk helicopters • Developed and managed a critical database highlighting potential shortages on an upgraded configuration for CCAD resulting in $1.5M increase in sales/ revenue for GE. • Utilizing government and GE databases, review inventory levels, engine inductions and production schedules to support manufacturing requirements Attend daily, weekly and monthly meetings to keep apprised of changes to schedules, design and insure appropriate action is taken to support manufacturing efforts. • Interface with GE Centralized Material Support to insure material requirements are met and weekly ship schedules are communicated. • Review of GE warehouse inventory levels, workin process (WIP) and to identify residual and/or dormant material • Identify and track changes for consumption characteristics on planned material levels, Identify and incorporate changes on existing DOFs at the Annual Material Reviews • Verification, validation and execution of material requirements to CCAD RBOMs and GE material contracts/databases to ensure accuracy of data. • Review material travelers to identify changes needing to be incorporated due to engineering changes or replacement changes. • Assisted GE Field Service Engineers with material analysis when performing cost estimates, engineering changes, break points, and in compiling parts analysis relative to consumption, or DOF changes. • Provide follow-up on critical parts issues, communicate status of deliveries in weekly Critical Call conference call with cross-functional areas at CCAD. • Teamed and reported on GE supply chain and warehouse inventory stances to ensure warehouse metrics • Perform material analysis and provide GE and CCAD with recommendations for Cost Savings/Improvements and reduction of time required for repair.
