Hired by Nimble Storage to lead the Quality Assurance Operations project from the design stage to rollout Helped gather design and functionality requirements from various stakeholders within the company (Development Engineering, Test and Technical Marketing) and synthesized these ideas into and end-to-end automated process which ensured the delivery of development operating system test system with a quick turnaround The deliverable of this project was an end-to-end automated system which sanitized hourly iterations of development operating system using automated test suites executing on a farm of testbeds The system included a Jenkins based execution engine, in house reporting portal, a database maintaining release specific information and suite of automated test suites created using the company proprietary test system This "QA-accept" process is now a mandatory benchmark that needs to be achieved by any code changes before being released to the development branch Project included equipment procurement, resource hiring, design and project management all while working with a limited budget

Currently responsible for designing automation infrastructure to enable test engineers align automation with the business unit's new profile based test language Leading a team of four engineers and deeply engaged with IXIA support team to create the infrastructure which will help engineers convert their manually created configurations into automated test suites The infrastructure is designed to be highly portable and modular for maximum re-use and customizability based on user needs The proof of concept was demonstrated to the management and currently the system is being deployed on two candidate testbeds Engaged with multiple business units to re-use as much technology as possible, and spending time in re-designing and creating only where needed

Designed and executed the Stability Monitoring System (SMS) which focused on testing the deploybility of a given release. Particular attention was given to study how customers are deploying features and to emulate the most common customer topologies. Topologies and test plans were created as a result of direct feedback from the field in the form of input from marketing teams and customer found defects SMS made a big impact in improving the overall customer experience and was ultimately ported to four other product lines Responsibilities included executing the test cases on a bi-weekly cycle and log and follow up on defects along with housekeeping responsibilities such as maintaining a dashboard of archived results and sending team wide weekly reports with trend charts Continually improved test configuration and testcases based on customer found issues and pain points Provided mentorship and technical support to new team members As part of a team working on a new product, leveraged regression suites supported on earlier versions of the platform, while updating libraries to add support for functionality and command line interface changes Created Demos for Converged solution on enterprise network and presented to Robert Lloyd, Cisco President of Development and Sales
