I have used rslogix 500 and 5000 to work on almost any variation of the processor supported by those software's. I also have worked a lot with their VFD non servo drives to automate things like air houses and fluid pump systems with pressure and flow controls. I enjoy working with the Rockwell components for the most part...
I have used the TIA portal 14 and 15 software and the step 7 software to program some interesting applications over the years. I have helped run a few ovens conveyor applications with this processor type.
I learned this language on the job and worked on paint mix systems using this language. I designed and programmed the systems I installed and learned a few tricks here and there.
Omron was used on a few machines I supported over the years and I had to do a few modifications to the software to add features. I know alot has changed since I used it back in 2012 but It shouldn't be to hard to pick back up again should the need arrise

I love doing programming and design on systems. I have spent years troubleshooting machines and diagnosing complex issues ranging from design issues to malfunctioning devices "Ghosts".

I was young and grew up in the ranks of maintenance, they taught me what sometimes schools seem to fail to teach. They taught me my carelessness and lack of attention would cause them years of pain and suffering. They molded me to care an try to not only fix the machines I was working on maintaining, but to look for ways to improve diagnostics and operations to reduce the work load they are called on to do.
Have supported many installations and start ups. From uncreating the machines to lagging them to the floor, pulling wires and running cables, connecting devices and reading electrical prints. I have been involved in most every aspect of Automation installation.

I understand the principles and am a pretty good at fixing problems in the field and redesigning on the fly when needed but I am not good with auto cad mostly because I am needed in the field and am not given much time to learn how to improve my skills with the auto cad software.
I have worked in the engineering field for years on many different kinds of projects and have been called on to solve problems using skills and diagnostic processes to improve the machines to where they function in a controled predictable manner.

I have been a Team Leader, Senior Engineer, Middle Management... truth is the best word to describe me is fighter... I fight for my team and my project and people seem to follow me because I lead by example. I cant make decisions based on incomplete information and I dont stop and wait for feedback I chase my balls and keep them all moving towards the finish line when possible.
I feel like I have been writing code for PLCs for years and have loved almost every minute of it. I refuse to give myself 5 stars or even take the title expert as I feel there is always something new to learn...
I have lead teams and managed clients and think I did close to the best job possible given the information and opportunities I was presented with, but I realize i have a lot to learn about some of the finer points.

Brad did an exceptional job and went above and beyond what he was originally tasked to do while working for us at our customer's facility. He was the sole reason the facility was even operational for several months and often had to assist 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift in a single day. Working over 70 hours (up to as high as 100 hours) per week on average for 3+ months he was a critical part of the assignment we used him on. Whether it was troubleshooting PLCs, developing HMI screens, or addressing any number of electronic issues throughout the facility Brad was able to save the day.
Brad was originally brought in to work on a new system build in our facility. Shortly after he was asked to shift to a project at our customers site for start up support. Thank you Brad for your cooperation in helping us with our customer.
