Responsible for developing Human Machine Interface (HMI) /Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to control and monitor the formulation and clean utilities areas of a new facility. Design, developed and implemented the layout strategy for graphic displays. The system is based on Rockwell Automation (RA) ControlLogix, RA FactoryTalk Services Platform, RA FT Historian SE, RA FT View SE, RA FT VantagePoint, RA Stratix and Cisco networking hardware and Marathon everRun FT server redundancy.
Client needed a Graphical representation of Historian data that looked similar to the existing HMI displays that operators used for daily operations. This was accomplished using an OSI Soft's ProcessBook application, FactoryTalk Historian and PLC.
Responsible for HMI/SCADA functionality that includes designing graphic displays for WFI system using standard libraries and faceplates, HMI/SCADA communication with PLC and database design using Proficy iFix and Rockwell Automation tools.
Worked on spare parts storage system for all the process lines at NNPII to minimize the downtime. System included Remstar Storage Units, SAP Software, and FastPic software. Activities included: Naming of all the parts correctly, using equipment manuals and process line information, so parts can be easily searched in the SAP. Grouping of parts by Functioning locations and standardizing the storage bins so they are compatible with new storage software.
Responsible for adding new functionality to SCADA (iFix and iBatch) for Packaging line to support the color coding of FlexPens. Added new tags for process control, Alarms and batch data. Modified Stored Procedures in Oracle. Optimized the navigation between screens to avoid unnecessary delays.
Development of IQ and OQ protocol for Purification area PLC for the new Fluzone vaccine facility. Execution of IQ and OQ protocol for areas controlled by Clean Utilities area PLC, Liquid Bio-waste area PLC, Clarification area PLC, Purification area PLC, Buffer Area PLC, Egg Harvester area PLC and Splitting and Activation area PLC.
Responsible for functionality of SCADA (iFix) for Packaging line. Modification, development and reverse engineering of SCADA system using iFix, RSLinx, RSLogix and OPC tools. Converted an existing packaging line's SCADA system from Novo Nordisk in Chartres-France to be used at Novo Nordisk in Clayton-North Carolina. Assisted team in migration from MSSQL to Oracle. Involved with database migration from the MSSQL Server to Oracle 9 by creating new Oracle tables, views and stored procedures. This required the rewriting of the scripts for the stored procedures. Setup the SCADA/PLC system in Chartres, France to execute MIT and FAT. Assisted clients in developing IQ and OQ protocols, Executed IQ and OQ.
Responsible for developing the SCADA system for continuous monitoring of particles, using Program Blocks and Visual Basic script in iFix. Assisted client in developing the URS, FS, and DS.
Fast track project in Denmark testing SCADA systems that were developed using Delta V software. Insured the electrical wiring diagrams completely agreed with software signals.
Formulation and storage for 3rd fill line. Responsible for developing history screens using iHistorian, debugging the VB code in iFix and verifying of software signals against the vendor drawings.
