Developed design for cogeneration power distribution and cutover from existing Power Station No. 5 to new power station. The project consisted of interconnecting the plant power system with the utility via dual 25 MVA, 69/13.8KV transformers and installing a SCADA system for remote telemetry and control at Power Plant #2. The communication link consisted of dual fiber optic routes approximately 2 miles each in length. The control system included local and remote metering at both the 13.8KV (plant) and 69KV (utility) voltage levels, synchronizing at 13.8KV locally and remote, protective relaying, system CRT graphics, and interfaces between analog and digital equipment. 10/22/2018 Goodyear Chemical, Beaumont, Texas Electrical Engineering Specialist Designed 480V power distribution and control for the 880 Tertiary Stripper Modifications.
