What is White Glove?

White Glove is how a customer chose to run and pay an hourly contract: Automate America is the supplier of record. Automate America invoices the customer for the approved hours and pays you on the contract's net terms. It describes the contract, never a badge on your profile.

Who Works on White Glove Contracts?

Anyone who applies to a White Glove contract and is hired. The customer chooses White Glove when posting an hourly contract or requesting a professional; only hourly contracts can be White Glove.

On a White Glove contract you are one of:

• An independent professional — an independent contractor to Automate America (Form 1099-NEC; you handle your own taxes; no employee benefits)
• An independent professional with your own company — your company is the supplier
• A service partner's employee — the service partner's W-2 employee, applied to the contract by the service partner

Nobody is ever an employee of Automate America.

What You Do

• Accept the offer: the Supplier Services Agreement (SSA) is shown in full and accepted with it
• Have your banking and an emergency contact on your profile: both are needed to accept a White Glove offer
• Put your certificate of insurance on file by the contract's start date, if the contract requires insurance
• Submit your timesheets and expenses on the website

How You Are Paid

Automate America pays you by direct deposit on the net terms the customer set for the contract, at the rate you saw when you applied. Automate America does not charge you a fee to be paid.
