With standard onboarding, you manage your own compliance and document uploads. White Glove provides a dedicated Account Manager who guides you through every step, reviews your documents for accuracy, and ensures you're ready to start work on time.
Onboarding Process
Required Documents
- W-9 (or W-8BEN) – Tax form with your legal name and taxpayer ID
- ACH Authorization – Bank details for direct deposit
- Voided Check or Bank Letter – Verification of bank account
- Proof of Address – Utility bill, bank statement, or government letter (within 90 days)
- Certificate of Insurance – Minimum $1M general liability coverage
Step-by-Step Guide
- Receive Welcome Email – Contains your Account Manager's contact info and document checklist
- Access Onboarding Portal – Log in and navigate to Dashboard > Onboarding
- Upload Documents – Submit all required documents (PDF, PNG, JPG accepted)
- Document Review – Your Account Manager reviews within 24 hours
- Verification – Banking and insurance verified
- Onboarding Complete – You receive confirmation and can start work
Timeline Expectations
Complete onboarding typically takes 3-5 business days when documents are submitted promptly. The timeline breaks down as:
