Getting Paid: Invoice & Payment

The Payment Process

Here's how you get paid for your work on FEED.

Payment Flow

  1. You submit timesheet (weekly)
  2. Customer approves (1-3 business days)
  3. Invoice generated (automatic)
  4. Customer pays invoice (Net-15 or Net-30)
  5. You receive payment (direct deposit)

Invoice Generation

Once your timesheet is approved, an invoice is automatically created.

Invoice Details Include

  • Hours worked and rates
  • Overtime calculations
  • Approved expenses
  • Applicable fees
  • Total amount due

Viewing Your Invoices

Go to Dashboard > Invoices to see:

  • Pending invoices
  • Paid invoices
  • Invoice details and PDF download

Payment Terms

Payment timing depends on the contract:

15 days after invoice

30 days after invoice
Net-45
45 days after invoice

Most contracts use Net-15 or Net-30.

Receiving Payment

Direct Deposit Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Banking
  2. Enter your bank account details
  3. Verify via small test deposits
  4. Confirm setup

Payment Schedule

  • Payments are processed weekly
  • Deposits typically arrive within 2-3 business days
  • You'll receive an email notification

Automate America Service Fee

A small service fee is deducted from each payment:

  • This covers platform operations
  • Fee is transparent in your invoice
  • Varies by contract type

Tax Documents

At year end, you'll receive a 1099-NEC for tax purposes:

  • Available in Settings > Tax Documents
  • Reflects all payments for the calendar year
  • Consult a tax professional for filing guidance
