Description: The Fuselage Automated Upright Build (FAUB), will be the baseline manufacturing process for the 777X and prior to that, for assembling fuselages for current 777 models. It's the first time Boeing will use such technology to manufacture wide-body commercial airplanes. The pulse line uses guided KUKA robots equipped with end effectors to do the riveting currently performed by workers using handheld tools. The robots will work on the forward and aft sections, installing up to 60,000 fasteners per 777 fuselage, quickly and with great precision. Responsibilities include PLC programming, HMI design and programming, management of junior controls engineers, control systems review and change specification, interfacing with 3rd party vendor applications for production data and process control.

The machine is required to maintain product quality while being able to maintain functionality in a near clean room environment, often being subjected to cleaning with highly abrasive chemicals. Responsibilities include software development, controls systems design and the coordination of the installation team.

BMW requires that all break assemblies be pre-adjusted before fitment to production vehicles in order to produce optimal performance right off the factory floor. The facility performed the dynamic bedding and pre – adjustment of brake assemblies under simulated driving conditions for performance motor vehicles. Responsibilities include the PLC programming, design and programming of the HMI. HARD STUFF CANNING LINE FAURECIA | SPAIN | 10/2013 – 02/2014 Role: Lead Programmer – Software development, in-house commissioning and on-site install. Description: Following more traditional catalytic converter assembly methods, this production line stuffs mat and monolith combinations into specifically sized cans for each part. Monoliths are precision measured and mats weighed to produce precision specification parts for use in full exhaust assemblies. Responsibilities include PLC programming, HMI design and development, development of a 3rd party application for database interfacing used for part tracking. HYBRID CANNING AND SHRINKER LINE FAURECIA | INDIA | 03/2014 – 08/2014 Role: Lead Programmer – Software development, in-house commissioning and on-site install. Description: This catalytic converter production line combined more traditional hard stuff canning methods and newer soft stuff processes to create a hybrid canning facility capable of producing multiple part variants for exhaust assemblies. Responsibilities include PLC programming, HMI design and development, development of a 3rd party application for database interfacing used for part tracking.

Responsible for continued support of existing solutions, assisting customers in the event of a breakdown and facilitating small modifications as requested by the customer. Functions also include assisting the controls team with software development for new projects.
