ITS PLC MHJ Edition is an Industrial floor multi-equipment computer graphics based simulator which interfaces with WinSPS-S7 (A Ladder Logic software which mimics Step7-300). I programmed a ladder logic which controlled a Pick and Place application with a 3-DoF manipulator and 2 conveyors interfacing with 9 sensors and 8 outputs to control parts on a conveyor to be placed in a 9 sectioned box on another conveyor.

Contracted to world's leading Electric Vehicle manufacturing company for its projects of the conveyance system on the assembly line. Worked in the Profinet networked environments of TIA and Ignition. This covered experience of live troubleshooting at stations, standardizing codes and commissioning new codes for the assigned projects and its verification to the desired functionality. Also, edited the Ignition system for accounting these changes made in Step 7 codes Key Achievements: Standardized ladder logic and Sequential Function Charts for various stations according to company standards. Troubleshoot a wide variety of issues on the production line to reduce downtime and de-bugged the code for future use. Verification and validation of different stations and ensuring their smooth performance in synchronization. Standardized and accurate information display of HMI at various stations.
Learned Electrical Drawing in AutoCAD Electrical to implement a Programmable Logical Controller (Allen Bradley 1766 PLC) based re-calibration of the pneumatic module to ensure accurate instrument reading. Interfaced with the production team to study and analyze entire assembly process of erecting the body on the chassis and the interiors, focusing on time-critical operations. Key Achievements: ▪ Ensured accurate air pressure readings of the supply pipelines in individual areas of the plant. ▪ Established procedures to study critical processes at intermediate stations of frame welding and floor buffing. ▪ Increased weld quality per station by eliminating undercutting by changing operator and process conditions and improving flow in the line by reducing buffing time by increasing operators per vehicle.
Education / Training / Certificates(1)
Generating a 2-D Optimal Kinematic Trajectory: Utilized MATLAB programming to maximize the radius of orbit transfer for a spacecraft within a given length of time by optimizing states using an indirect method of Two-Point-Boundary-Value-Problem. Also Optimized input of two autonomous tricycles reaching a common final zone with constraints such as common final time, taking different paths and avoiding obstacles by using the Direct Optimization Method of Collocation. Inverse Kinematics and Pick and Place operation of Viper s650TM: Inverse Kinematics was performed using LabVIEW. Independently, programmed the robot (using V+ language) to grasp the given objects on the conveyor belt and place them in a specific pattern. The design of a Relay Ladder Logic (RLL): Calculated the error in the volume of water using the International Parallel Machine’s IP3416 PLC model and EPS Software to design a RLL. Actuated a baggage system at an airport including warning lights, alarm, and conveyor belt motor and baggage sensor. Control and Design of Semi-Autonomous Surveillance Robot: Architecting and fabricating a control system which switches between a wireless manual control and an autonomous mode. Coded the microcontroller (Arduino UNO) using Arduino IDE for obstacle avoidance in its autonomous mode. Integration of camera module to the system. Integrated accurate CAD modeling using CATIA to design the chassis, while selecting the desired motor torque. Modeling and Control of twin-rotor UAV: Thrust vectoring based modeling of the UAV. Fabrication of the same. Control the UAV in two modes Climb velocity control and Altitude hold control using a linear PID Controller in SIMULINK. Fault Tolerance Control Allocation Schemes in an Over-Actuated Control system: An implication of control allocation of real time Quadrotor system to avoid input saturation and re-allocation to distribute control in a faulty system.
