About Me
I am a Controls Engineer with experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, SCADA development, machine testing, and controls hardware integration. I began working in the automation industry in 2019 and joined Easton Enterprises in 2026. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Toledo and have completed specialized robotics training with Yaskawa, FANUC, and Epson.
My controls experience includes Rockwell and AutomationDirect PLC platforms, along with FactoryTalk, Ignition, Proficy iFIX, and AutomationDirect HMI/SCADA systems. I have also worked with Yaskawa, FANUC, ABB, and Epson robotic platforms. My programming background includes Python, scripting, and AI agent development and management. In addition to my automation experience, I have more than seven years of experience as a Windows IT Administrator and have worked with industrial communications including Ethernet, TCP, OPC, and IO-Link.
I have supported automation projects across the automotive, solar, glass, and appliance industries. My machine experience includes conveyor and accumulation systems, bonding equipment, hipot testing systems, glass furnaces, servo-driven pick-and-place systems, nut welding, adhesive dispensing, material conveyance, and robotic heat-application processes. My typical responsibilities include PLC program development, controls device setup and integration, system implementation, machine testing, troubleshooting, and startup support.
Throughout my career, I have worked on projects focused on improving machine reliability, throughput, and production efficiency. This has included conveyor load balancing across multiple production lines and accumulation optimization to improve overall system throughput. While working in solar manufacturing, my shift achieved the highest equipment uptime among the operating shifts.
I have also managed a team of three Controls Support Technicians and participated in leadership development programs through the University of Toledo. One of the qualities I bring to a project is a willingness to take ownership of the work through implementation and testing to help ensure the system is operating as intended before turnover.
Outside of work, I enjoy farming and golfing.
