BMW Headquarters. Setting up rivet, material handling, sealer and docking robots/RTUs from the beginning including mastering, new home & repair/tape cut positions to avoid interference while implementing zones. Creating rivet weld points and new pick and drop programs using Ford OLPs. Teaching DCS zones and verifying with buy-off personnel. Lead robot programmer for installation into the facility, working with PLC to verify safeties and improve cycle time. Production support for the cell until buy off.

Worked with Motoman robots teaching pick and drop paths. Set up rack pick robots/RTUs from the beginning including mastering, DCDs, new home & repair positions to avoid interference, and created new pick and drop programs using OLPs to the racks and to/from the SISO at the facility. Taught DCS zones and verified with PLC. Transferred station to GM Wentzville and assisted with install.

Body Assembly. Programmed, operated, and maintained automated multi-axis robotic welding systems (Motoman and Fanuc) to ensure structural integrity of vehicle frames. Monitored and adjusted automated spot-welding and arc-welding parameters to meet strict Honda quality specifications. Performed routine preventative maintenance, joint tracking calibrations, and troubleshooting on robotic arms and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT).

Production support and troubleshooting; worked to improve cycle time and overall efficiency of the cell. Created new pick and drop programs to eliminate robot faults. Troubleshot bolt feeders and bolt feeder slides, and adjusted part-present sensors on turn tables and bolt feeder slides. Worked with VRSI and Perceptron vision systems. Created new robot paths to avoid collisions and increase efficiency, and communicated with Controls to solve overall cell cycle time and improvements. Also supported the GE Stamp facility in West Virginia, working with ABB robots to improve cycle time and cell efficiency: re-writing programs, touching up and removing points to improve robot paths, and touching up robot drops and adjusting speeds throughout programs to increase cycle time.

Set up Fanuc, Motoman, and Cobot robots, weld robots and RTUs from the beginning, including mastering, cap changes, and new home & repair positions to avoid interference, and created new pick and drop programs using OLPs. Taught DCS zones. Set up Keyence and Matrox vision to incorporate robot bin picking. Set up and named new valves for material handling robots.
