About Me
I am an Automation Specialist with experience in robotics, PLC programming, hardware integration, machine setup, and troubleshooting. I began working in the automation industry in 2023 and joined Easton Enterprises that same year. My educational background includes college coursework and a cybersecurity bootcamp credited through The Ohio State University. I also hold a CompTIA Security+ certification and CPR certification.
My automation experience includes Allen-Bradley PLC platforms, FactoryTalk and C-more HMI systems, and robotic platforms from ABB, FANUC, Yaskawa, and KUKA. I primarily program in Ladder Logic and have hands-on experience with machine hardware installation, setup, testing, and troubleshooting. I have also worked with Banner, Keyence, and Cognex sensing and vision technologies.
I have supported automation projects in the automotive and aluminum extrusion industries, including bonding systems, injection molding applications, assembly equipment, material handling systems, and aluminum extrusion machinery. My typical responsibilities include PLC programming, robot programming, hardware installation, device setup, machine testing, and troubleshooting during startup and commissioning.
One of the most significant projects I have been involved with was the ground-up launch of 11 automated manufacturing cells supporting production for the Tesla Cybertruck. That project provided extensive experience with large-scale equipment startup, robotics, controls integration, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced production environment.
Some of my strongest skills are problem solving, communication, and troubleshooting. I enjoy working through difficult technical problems, thinking outside of the box, and staying focused in high-pressure situations where quick and effective problem solving is important.
Outside of automation, I have spent five years coaching hockey, which has helped strengthen my communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. In my free time, I enjoy hockey, hiking, running, and working out.
