• Engineering, designing and integration of generator control systems using Woodward EasyGen, RP3000XT, LS-5/6, Basler DECS-150 & Woodward 2301D.
• Engineering, designing, integration and programming of PLC and HMI hardware & software solutions, using Rockwell, Siemens, OMRON, GE-FANUC, MODICON, Automation direct, Square D and Eaton equipment.
• Engineering and design of LV switchgear, using Eaton and ABB hardware. Including bus bar sizing, layout, bracing, support, electrical controls, and programming.
• Engineering and design of LV and MV switchgear protection circuits using GE Multilin devices.
• Engineering and design of MCC control circuits for Eaton, Rockwell and Siemens equipment.
• Engineering and design of smart MCC’s for Eaton and Rockwell equipment.
• Engineering, design, and programming of Radio telemetry systems for offshore applications
• Engineering, design, and integration of power control & distribution buildings (PDC). Including control rooms, UPS buildings, MCC and switchgear buildings and engineering buildings.
• Troubleshooting of existing electrical installations.
• Onsite equipment surveys to provide recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.
• Responsible for customer or regulatory body (ABS, NEC, UL, coastguard etc.) approval of system designs.
• Responsible for providing full documentation on completion of the project. Including AutoCAD drawing packages.
• ABB, Siemens, Eaton, WEG, Yaskawa, Rockwell VFD and soft starter programming and commissioning.
• JRCS factory trained Engineer.
• ABB factory trained VFD start-up and commissioning Engineer.
• Process control experience, Including batch and continuous processes, as well as discrete and sequenced control.
• PID loop tuning.
• Design of electrical control systems using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Use of P&IDs to produce automated process control solutions.
• Engineering & designing control systems for machine tool, gantry, and conveyor systems
• Engineering & designing machine vision applications using FANUC and Cognex 2D/3D camera systems
• Programming Siemens CNC controllers for gantry applications.
• Configuring Allen-Bradley & Siemens servo drives.
• Programming Motorola ACE3600, MOSCAD and MOSCAD-L RTU’s. Factory Trained.
• Programming and configuration of Maple systems, Automation direct, Rockwell, Siemens & Eaton HMI’s.
• Programming Siemens S7 (Step 7 and Tia portal) PLC’s. Including S7-400 hot standby configuration.
• Programming Rockwell SLC (RSLogix500) range of PLC’s.
• Programming Rockwell ControLogix (Studio5000) range of PLC’s. Including hot standby configuration.
