Maintained the manufacturing plant's control network that contained multiple PLC/5, SLC500, and ControlLogix PLCs. Standardized code from multiple contractors to make troubleshooting easier and reduce downtime. Programmed Kinetix servo drives in rotational and linear applications for precise motion control. Designed new interfaces using Wonderware Intouch and FactoryTalk View, for continuous innovations and to reduce the operators' day-to-day interaction with the HMI. Modified and added onto the existing plant network in efforts to reduce network traffic and expand the number of control elements to have more data flow to be more informed on Historical data and how they affect performance. Led numerous projects to modernize an aging plant, including but not limited to large-scale PLC/5 to ControlLogix conversions, PF700 Phase 1 to Phase 2 Conversions, and analog sensor installation for product height monitoring and control.

Acted as the primary controls engineer for multiple projects while creating HMI interface primarily with Wonderware or Factory Talk View and back-end controls using LabVIEW and RSLogix for large industrial manufacturers. Coordinated with vendors, clients, contractors, and internal management to ensure projects are done promptly and properly. Led and programmed an extensive R&D project for a Fortune 500 company. Took a conceptual idea and create a new measurement system that helped automate a previously time-consuming task to a system with real-time inline product monitoring. Utilized RSLogix in innovative ways to create unique control schemes to meet client needs with foreword thinking to be able to anticipate new additions the client might add. Updated antiquated control systems with modern processors and HMIs to help ensure reliability and extend customer machinery's usable life. Traveled to customer facilities for installation and configuration to ensure a quality build and troubleshoot any unforeseen problems.
