I have been a member of several teams in manufacturing where we looked for ways to streamline and improve processes on the plant floor. In addition, as a member of those teams, we initiated efforts for real-time and historical data.

I programmed PLC5, SLC, Compact and ControlLogix my first 8 years for a floor-covering manufacturer. I have worked closely with many natural gas and oil processing facitlies, liquid asphalt terminals, and automotive manufacturers

I am proficient with Allen-Bradley and Siemens.

Developed a SCADA system for a fully automated liquid asphalt terminal using WinCC Professional. Developed a VB.NET system using OPC DA for continuous dye range in carpet manufacturing.

I have assisted electrical designers with the control and power distribution of many systems.

I have compiled documentation for many systems with which I have been involved in the design, programming, installation, and commissioning.

Chattanooga, TN  Provide support for the City of Chattanooga's WWTP and pump stations. ◦ Develop new PLC programs and HMI displays for pump station upgrades.  Develop and provide support for other customers; equipment upgrades, SCADA additions and upgrades. ◦ Automotive, bakery, recycling  Review and red line electrical schematics prior to procurement of hardware and software development.  Assist in the training of new hires based on the needs of the customer base.

Dalton, GA  Work with contract integrators in the debugging and commissioning of a Yokogawa DCS at three different manufacturing plants. ◦ Replace VFDs as needed due to obsolescence or failure ◦ Configure, address, and add AS-I devices to the gateways on the various AS-I networks ◦ Configure and troubleshoot HART devices using a YHC5150 communicator including, but limited to flow meters, pressure transmitters, and temperature transmitters ◦ Create and update Logic Charts, Sequence Tables, Graphics, Trends in CentumVP as needed  Perform mechanical maintenance on control valves, discrete valves, check valves, pneumatic diaphragm pumps, instrument air manifolds and associated air lines.  Specify components and build remote operator stations for use in classified areas  Run industrial network cables and terminate end points as needed including but limited to MICKY AS-I, Ethernet, and Analog signal isolators

Chattanooga, TN  Develop, implement, and support control systems for liquid asphalt terminals, polymer modified asphalt blending systems, emulsion blending systems, automated tank farms, and combustion ratio controllers for thermal fluid heaters.  Participate and lead training for customers who are using Heatec products.  Start R&D initiatives to improve current products as well as offer new products.
