Responsible for ensuring production capacity by installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, testing and continuously improving industrial equipment. Maintain and repair all automated equipment such as PLCs, electrical, robotic, and electromechanical systems. Troubleshoot and rewire electrical safety circuits such as E. Stops, Light curtains, Safety gates, etc. Teach, program, and interface various kinds of robots as per electrical schematics and technical requirements. Creating, and improving HMIs according to operators and managers requests using Panelbuilder32 and Factorytalk View. Backup, troubleshoot, and create PLC programs for weld cells and presses, and do preventative maintenance as required. Create, and modify weld schedules and steppers and troubleshoot Weld issues.
Design, modify, and update PLC and HMI programs using RSLogix 500, 5000, and Factorytalk View. Create and modify electrical drawings, process & instrumentation diagrams and schematics as required. Prepare and quote detailed Bill of Materials for the Purchasing departments. Ensure that electrical designs are in accordance with CSA electrical codes and Safety laws. Configure and program multiple safety controllers from Schneider as per customer requirements.
