About Me

I have worked with Fanuc and Lincoln weld power supplies for 4 years until I became a project manager and would like to get back behind a teach pendant. I have the privilege of being a father of 4 awesome children, that keeps me busy! All four are homeschooled by my saint of a wife that I have been married to for 16 years! We currently attend Family Church in Zeeland where I volunteer as a middle school leader for 7th grade boys. Over the past 2 years I have volunteered for my youngest son's soccer team as assistant coach. I love spending time with my family, spending time outdoors, remodeling our house (turning dreams into a reality) and enjoy working in the barn on anything that has an engine and makes noise! 3 ·

While a project manager my responsibilities were to monitor and direct the progress of a project from initiation to completion. Along with monitoring hours used and allowed budget. I am not a degreed weld engineer, but did program Fanuc robots for 3+ years, cut welds, measure, and adjust when needed.

Attended Grand Rapids Community College for an additional 2 ½ years and took more general education classes paired with automotive technology classes. I enjoyed the hands-on learning and troubleshooting that these classes offered. Shortly after I completed schooling for automotive technology, I accepted a position with a local repair shop.
