I am an excellent Solidworks modeler. It has become a cornerstone of my work, which allows me to build parts for manufacturing and produce technical drawings for my fabricators. I do everything from sheet metal and reverse engineering of legacy parts to animated models of robot assemblies.

I am an excellent Keyence programmer. I have designed systems regularly from start to finish for three years, including custom mounting and mechanical components. I have retrofitted cutting edge vision and laser systems onto legacy production lines and brought their quality standards up to tightened OEM requirements. I am capable of making very powerful inspection system for complex products.

Though my recent work is better served by Solidworks modeling, I regularly fall back on my experience with AutoCAD to create 2D models for fabrication. I have also begun practicing with Fusion 360 to create customer-facing components with a stronger aesthetic leaning. I have paired this with recent innovations in 3D printing to create strong, beautiful physical components that can be made to order.

I have made several custom vision and laser systems using LMI's Gocator line of products. Notably I designed a first-of-its kind part inspection system using the new Gocator 3520, taking advantage of the wide field-of-view that is unique to this sensor. LMI products allow for impressive granularity for 3D inspections, and I am happy to use their products whenever inspections are needed in all three dimensions.

I am a competent and careful PLC programmer. Since my work often involves modifying the ladder logic in high-throughput facilities, I am methodical about the code I implement, and design my new programs to ensure that no artifacts ever create problems in the legacy code.

Even a top-notch system can be ignored if nobody like to use it, which is why I believe that every project lives or dies by its interface. When designing any HMI, I do a deep dive with my client about the priorities of the system and what information is important to all the parties that would ever use the system. I have a keen eye for aesthetics and ergonomics, and so my interfaces are beautiful, functional, and intuitive.

Besides installing my own designs, I am also happy to install hardware straight from the manufacturer. I have a long history of getting my hands dirty and making sure that equipment is installed with rock-solid reliability.

I am an accomplished vision system integrator, having produced millions of dollars worth of custom vision and laser systems across the United States. I also design and manage fabrication for any physical components that can optimize the performance of my systems, wire the electrical panels, and craft conduit to the relevant hardware. I am an all-in-one package, and I ensure that ever project gets done fully and well.

I am primarily a vision and automation engineer. I am up-to-date on technological innovations in this field and can create solutions for any problem that life can throw at you.

I have completed some work in cross-functional teams that included creating the vision environment for six-axis robots to work in tandem on a manufacturing line. I competent enough with vision-guided robotics to ensure that the vision components are reliable and do not result in unnecessary downtime.
