(Dayton, TN) Responsibilities comprised of providing onsite support of Nokians MES (Manufacturing Execution System) system. Which comprised of at least 50 different applications.
Lead Software Engineer, Astec Inc. From 1998-2010 I held the title of Controls Tech. Responsibilities comprised of providing on site implementation of controls systems. This involved extensive travel, installation of hardware, custom wiring, on-site training, and PLC troubleshooting. During the remaining 5 years in this position, I provided in-house phone support for PC, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting. From 2013-2018 I held the title of Controls Engineer/ Lead Controls Engineer where my responsibilities comprised of Siemens PLC troubleshooting to writing and maintaining existing S7 programs, authoring custom programs using Visual Studios and Delphi in addition to providing technical support for existing customers. While managing five Engineers, my daily activities included making sure projects were completed to specifications in a timely manner, and developing new products from conception to completion. Presently I hold the title of Lead Software Engineer.
