Controls Engineer very experienced with Allen Bradley PLC controls (RSlogix 5000/Studio 5000). Experienced in Scada and HMI development (FactoryTalk View Studio). Also, have some experience Siemens TIA Portal. I have implemented and improved many systems over my career as a Controls Engineer/Automation Engineer. Controls and Robotic integration for various Manufactures throughout the US. • Designed safe and effective control programs for system upgrades and new systems. • Conduct internal runoff, safety inspections, and quality control procedures for equipment. • Work with many systems containing Allen Bradley/Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View Studio. • Experience with Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal including WinCC. • Lead projects to ensure all aspects meet customer's specifications. • Recent project included: Automated Fuel Tank welding system that utilized new cutting-edge technology for seam tracking and controls. • Engineering duties include 4 manufacturing sites in eastern US areas. • Automation systems development for various Arcade Manufacturing sites. • Electrical design and wiring for control cabinets. • Electrical control design for servo drives, VFDs, and pneumatic controls. • PID logic development for temperature, pressure, and level sensors. • Design and Programming of PLC and Robotic system for a $350,000 project. Automated vial filling and vial packing (Fanuc, Automation Direct) • Automated Robotic carton packing system. System improvements for a $500,000 project. This included PLC programming and Robotic programming (ABB, Siemens S7-1500) • Developed Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing equipment. • Implemented equipment upgrades through PLC controls to increase factory productivity. • Electrical upgrades to improve functionality of systems. • Project Management: Development of project timelines to meet budgetary costs and aggressive project deadlines.

• Process development and improvement responsibilities include the launch of Volkswagen Atlas and Passat at the Chattanooga production facility. • Process development of cavity wax flooding technologies and material delivery systems. • Creating procedures and standards for Volkswagen corrosion processes. • Create material testing and acceptance procedures for PVC material used in our corrosion protection processes. • Review material SDS for compliance with paint shop ISO standards. • Focus in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement - 5S and Kaizen. • Responsible for Corrosion Protection automation applications within Volkswagen. • Develop and maintain stable processes to increase productivity and cost savings. • Develop and Improve Sealing processes through Robotic Applications and Programming. Wanderjahre Assignment • Year long learning assignment based at our Headquarters in Wolfsburg Germany • Experienced the Volkswagen way of efficiency and gained expert knowledge in many areas of the Wolfsburg Germany Automotive Production Facility. • Provided the opportunity to have concentrated training from Engineers and Specialists within the German Volkswagen Brand. • Knowledge in areas including Robotics, PLC, Applications of Painting, Welding Processes, Electronics, and Volkswagen process specific details. • Contributed to the setup of the e-Golf production facility in Wolfsburg • Development in German Language with classroom training and being immersed in the culture.
