December 2001 - Present Casper, Wyoming Area As a member of A&E's PLC Group, my responsibilities vary depending on the project. Large projects require a team effort from our group, and smaller projects require me to be self motivated and complete projects on my own. I have gained experience in project bidding, panel drawing design, software development and testing, field I/O checkout, commissioning, startup, and ongoing support and maintenance. A major responsibility of the job is proper documentation for each project, including: P&ID and PLC panel drawing redlines, Cause & Effect charts, Process Control Descriptions / Control Narratives, HMI User Manuals, SCADA Register Lists, etc. I am required to work on multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes with constantly evolving timelines and deadlines. I interface with the other departments at A&E: Project Management, Finance, Engineering, Drafting, Panel Shop, Testing/QA, Electrical Construction, and Skid Testing/Checkout. We offer remote technical support and assistance for our field startup technicians. I also interface directly with our customers throughout the course of any given project to ensure that any job specific requirements and specifications are met. I have maintained ongoing relationships with our vast customer base in order to assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and to help perform upgrades throughout the life of our automation control systems. This work has required a balance of working in the office and out in the field
