As the first paintless dent repair technician at the BMW Manufacturing facility, I was responsible for the repair of vehicles, development of tooling and techniques, and the eradication of problems stemming from a variety of sources. My unique position within a manufacturing facility allowed me to track down problems from end-of-line all the way back to stamping issues caused at a supplier facility. The repair techniques varied based on cause and positioning of damage, and with new products consistently coming online rapidly, swift decisions and tooling had to be made often.
