High-volume production spot welding assembly plant - The role responsibilities: Daily weld/production data crunching, new weld procedures development, continuous improvement activities, documentation development and publishing, product development, PPAP activities, troubleshooting and debugging of new and in-use equipment...etc. - Training of newly hired technicians, as well as entry-level weld acceptance training of newly hired operators, supervision, management, and support staff - Equipment failure analysis, problem resolution, and sustainability planning

Responsible for all plant's weld processes: Mag, Mig, Resistance, Projection, and Drawn Arc. Process development, documentation, design review, buy-off, EC. Weld and Assembly process improvements such as weld fixture improvements, redesigns, material-in-use improvements, optimization...etc. Close interaction with weld technicians and training where necessary. Close interaction with Met Lab (Cut/Etch lab). Interpretation and implementation of specified customer's weld standards, quality check methods, and frequency required. - Product development and improvement.
