Setup and operate a work cell consisting of an Okuma CNC Lathe, a Haas 4-axis machining center, a tapping machine, and 2 punch presses. Read blueprints to determine dimensions and order of operation for making parts. Make edits (sometimes major) to programs to ensure correct order of operation and dimensions. Setup and operate Okuma CNC lathe and Haas 4-axis machining center. Perform secondary operations (tapping, denting, deburring, etc.) as necessary to complete parts.
Certified in ABB robot programming and electrical service, as well as RobotStudio, ABB's state-of-the-art simulation software for work cell design. Taught over 50 students in preparation for passing (over 80% pass rate) ABB robot certification test in programming and electrical maintenance of robots. Taught over 60 students in preparation for passing (90% pass rate) FANUC certification for mill programming, setup, and operation. Scheduled 4 other instructors, ensuring all classes were covered.
