Program and perform all Mfg Eng. Responsibilities to support production. Create programs for engine seals and other engines in NX6 for VTL and 4 axis horizontal lathes as well as a Multus mill turn and other Milling Machines. Support and troubleshoot programs for a variety of CNC Machines on the production floor. Used in manufacturing of high temp alloys Inconel, Renee, etc. Used in manufacturing of commercial jet engine parts. Other duties program Monode marking machines for part marking.

Program, coordinate and troubleshoot the 6 Axis Mazak Laser. Program and design parts in 2-D and 3-D including sheet metal and custom pipe and channel, using Mazak smart systems, Fg cam, Space Gear, Radan and Solid Works 2007, Unigraphics V18. Create programs for Freightliner and other customers for 2d and 3d parts on the laser and create drawings and modify solids to support programming. Create programs for carbon base steels, stainless steel, Inconel, aluminum and other alloys. Check programs in Mazaks tool path simulation program. Typical tolerance (+/-).002 I.D. and O.D. dimensions.

Create 5 axis CNC Programs in Catia V4 for the milling and mold dept. Troubleshoot programs and support the manufacturing department. Check programs in Vericut for accuracy.

Create CNC programs and associated machine setup information and documentation for matrice manufacture using Unigraphics V16 and Catia V5R12 soft wear in the mold dept. Check programs using Vericut. Provide timely support to the manufacturing shops to minimize program related technical and quality problems. Participate in improvement and documentation of the programming process, creating improved programming and machining methods. Analyze and coordinate modifications of design specifications to meet manufacturing requirements typical tolerances (+/-).05 mm. Communicate potential program related difficulties and program changes to other group members, the supervisor, and affected manufacturing facilities as necessary.

Incorporate and produce engineering changes to improve and facilitate manufacturing processes. Convert and embody all engineering prints into Unigraphics CAD conversion. Transform all drawings into solid molding format using Unigraphics version 9.0 through 12.0. Produce C.N.C. programs for C.N.C. wire machine and 3 AXIS milling programs for the CNC mills to support the forging tool process. Verify all C.N.C. programs through Vericut software. Wrote ISO 9000 standard for C.N.C. program and documentation.

Process all phases of manufactured components including the job instruction sheets created in Unigraphics, selection of work centers creation of numerical control programs to run C.N.C. lathes and mills for all operations select all tooling and gauges necessary for the mfg. process. Edit and troubleshoot NC programs on the manufacturing shop floor. Material Review Board responsibilities include a review of all discrepant manufactured parts for rework and suggested repairs.

Setup the Planning and Job Instruction Sheets for the manufacture of fans, compressor wheels, and associated parts. Material Review Board responsibility for all mfg. Parts for rework and disposition.
