I have mastered programming Rockwell controllers, HMIs and drives.

I have mastered programming Siemens controllers, HMIs and drives.

I have configured over 30 drives with TIA15 software with different applications. Including syncronous axis, positioning axis and speed controlled. These drives mostly contain motors with absolute encoders, and the final outcome of production parts were demanding on regression calculations and others.

I have installed multiple SEW drives during a BMW project.

I have developed software utilities used in the automation industry. Including workflow software, Communication software and PLC logic generation for Rockwell controllers.

I am capable of developing a vast range of software. I am capable of self studying a new language. I prefer C# to program user applications as they allow to easily interface some useful frameworks etc.

I have a degree in Electrical Engineering. I have also worker as a controls engineer for the last 4 years. So I am very confident in my electrical skills. But I prefer programming software as it is my true passion.

I have worker in multiple bodyshop projects. I have been part of teams and also completed projects on my own. I prefer bodyshop projects.

I was responsible for the offline programming, which was done in conjunction with virtual commisioning stations. Also onsite programming of two BMW v8.0 & v8.1 specification lines. These lines incuded vaious technologies, which included laser welding (remote & braing), clinching, nutwelding, sealing, hemming, welding, palletizing, searching and scribing. I was also responsible for programming non standard blocks for the plant such as a customised scribing block and shift patterns. I was the main programmer for EBZ during this project and the plant is located in South Africa.

I was repsonsible for all the PLC programming during an additional installation done on site at Ford FTM (Thailand.) This installation included multiple robots and stations and sequence changes to be done to all the lines in order to achieve cycle time optimiszations.

I programmed an additional robot and two sealer curing stations to optimise cycle time at a previous installed line. The project was at MA, South Africa.

I was responsible for programming two symetrical body in white, lines (Ford FNA standard.) I was also the main programmer for the Ford FIS monitoring routines for all the other lines of the project. The project was at Ford FTM, in Thailand. And it was a P375 project (Ford Ranger.) I was responsible for offline programming, onsite programming, and support of the electrical team.

I achieved many distinctions and was top of my class at programming modules. I am currently studying towards my degree part-time.
