Designed electrical schematics for custom automation equipment using AutoCAD Electrical (2017). Assembled electrical panels for custom automation equipment. All aspects of safety, wiring routes, wire labeling and user experience are taken into consideration. Programmed PLC's (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, AutomationDirect) for custom automation equipment utilizing ladder logic principles to ensure safety, proper function and intelligent recovery parameters for all machines. Worked in cooperation with supervisor to determine accurate quotes for several customers. Produced and utilized a spreadsheet template for identifying the correct price with consideration for labor, quantity, etc.

Designed tooling and fixtures for new products utilizing SolidWorks parametric 3D design software. Led electro-mechanical design and build of internal custom automation projects. Programming of programmable logic controllers (PLC's). Worked in cooperation with supervisor on project feasibility for automation projects, return on project investment, investigation of project costs and schedule to determine if project will be completed with company staff or outside automation provider. Provide machine fixture design and assembly services.
